Blackbird Cafe – Mountain Brunch & Lunch is the perfect setting with great food to complement your mountain adventure? We’re located along Bear Creek just outside Evergreen in Kittredge, CO. Our window seating places you over the creek! From your table, you can enjoy the busy and beautiful mountain wildlife. We often see deer, elk, hummingbirds, ducks, blue herons, raccoons, and red foxes. Choose a cozy booth or a table and our fireplace will keep you warm.

Everyone can find something to love on our menu. We offer a variety of healthy, hearty meals from grass-fed burgers to our crunchy walnut salmon salad and everything in between. We have a great kids menu, a vegan menu and offer many items vegetarian and/or gluten-free. We focus on simplicity and freshness! Most of our items are made in-house or sourced from local small businesses.

Our ambiance is quaint and cozy with close up views of nature, the mountains and the creek. What animals might you see from your table? We have table seating, bar seating, booths, and a stellar menu that includes something for everyone + desserts, cocktails, beer and wine. We also are family friendly with a healthy kids menu approved by our own kids.

Top Notch place staffed and owned by Top Notch people. You will not find a better Mountain breakfast brunch and lunch restaurant anywhere on the Front Range. Reasonable prices for the quality food and service. Beautiful setting next to Bear Creek. Does get busy especially when the weather is wonderful so plan accordingly. Definitely worth your wait however

The food was tasty, the staff was helpful and friendly, and like the location with the stream in the back. I got the chorizo benedict and buttermilk pancakes and both were very good. The next time I go there I'm going to get the same thing. The staff also checked in on me to ensure everything was ok and if I needed a refill on my coffee which was much appreciated. Note that I was there on a Monday in February so did not have to wait for a table or struggle with finding parking. But I can understand some of the other comments regarding during busier times the issue with parking and wait times... Can't wait to go back during warmer weather and sit outside by the stream....
